Sloan’s Chapel Plaza
This project is a 0.5-acre lot converted into a plaza/park space. Features include integrating lighting into the handrails, prefabricated benches, and reuse of ‘pillow stones’ from the old hospital surrounding the historic Chapel as stepping stones and bike rack bases.

Government, Special Operations
Fort McCoy Access Control Point
Fort McCoy provides facilities for all branches of the Armed Forces intended for training and readiness. Set on approximately 20 acres, the access control point serves as a primary entrance for military convoys and deliveries. The new access control point consists of a 1,600 SF search area office, 4,000 SF ID check canopy, two (2) types of passive vehicle barriers (cable based and swallow foundation bollard), active vehicle barriers, and site work.

Land Ports of Entry
Catamount has completed 12 design-build Land Ports of Entry (LPOE) projects located in Morgan and Whitetail, MT; Antler, Noonan, Carbury, Hansboro, Sherwood, and Westhope, ND; Churubusco, NY; Antelope Wells, NM; Pittsburg, NH; and, Pinnacle Road, VT. Each design-build project entails specialized architecture to blend with the natural environment, fine-tuned scheduling and project management to account for short building seasons in remote locations with potential extreme weather conditions, energy-efficient design and construction elements to result in LEED certification, environmental modifications to bridging documents to avoid or mitigate concerns such as wetlands and fragile areas, and value engineering solutions whenever possible to reduce front-end costs and long-term operation expenses.

Sanostee Day School
The Catamount team completed construction of a new, single-story, K-3 school for 86 students. The project was certified by the U.S. Green Building Council as LEED Silver. The project included general and specialized classroom and educational support areas including a kitchen/dining area, library/media center, an administrative area, and athletic and recreational facilities. Catamount also provided utilities and site development consisting of access roads, parking and drop off areas, sewage lagoon, on-site stormwater retention, curb and gutter, exterior lighting, sidewalks, and playgrounds.

Kaibeto Boarding School
Catamount achieved LEED Silver certification on this design-build project which included a 42 bed dormitory totaling 12,000 SF and 12 staff housing units totaling 3,700 SF. The scope of work included asbestos abatement and demolition of the existing K-8 school, dormitory, administration, and cafeteria buildings. The site development included repaving of existing roads, a 200,000 gallon water tower, new underground water utility piping, new sanitary sewer piping, new storm water piping, sidewalks, landscaping, irrigation, two new baseball fields, outdoor basketball courts, new playground structures, and perimeter fencing.

Wide Ruins Community School Complex
The Wide Ruins Community School Complex includes a 37,000 SF school, 2,703 SF dining facility, 17,000 SF dormitory, and 11 residential units. The scope of work included HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and sitework including storm water, fire suppression, lighting, communications, landscaping, masonry roofing, concrete, and environmental remediation. Catamount completed the work in five phases and included design considerations for severe weather.

Blackfeet Indian School
The scope of work for this project included demolition and replacement of the Blackfeet Boarding School Dormitory, new 3,000 SF Maintenance Shop and Bus Garage, and five new Staff Housing Quarters (1,260 SF each) with a new housing road. Specific work included HVAC, site and civil, paving, concrete, masonry, carpentry and millwork, doors and framing, fencing, landscaping, interior finishes and flooring, preengineered buildings, audio/visual equipment, plumbing, bathroom fixtures, drywall, food service equipment, pest control equipment, fire protection, electrical, and communications.

Camp Bullis Field Medical Training Facility
This fast-track, design-build project included the design and construction of 18 preengineered metal buildings and masonry buildings including an administrative building, a dining facility, dormitory buildings, multi-purpose buildings, classroom buildings, latrines, warehouse building, tent and aircraft static display pads, pump house, site access, driveways and utilities. The Camp Bullis Field Medical Training Facility included a 3,200 SF dining facility which provides the capability of preparing enough hot food to feed 350 persons per meal with multiple seating during a 2-hour serving period.

Kanab Office Building
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) consolidated two offices in Kanab, UT, into one energy-efficient building. The 16,350 SF administrative offices building, which includes a 6,200 SF warehouse, serves as the headquarters for the BLM’s Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument and houses the staff of the BLM Kanab Field Office. In this relatively remote location in Southern Utah, temperatures can dip below 0°F in the winter and climb over 100°F in the summer.
